The Appellate Tribunal of Film Certification has finally issued the U/A certificate to the film ‘Raajneeti’. The film had earlier been refused the U/A certificate by the Censor Board of Film Certification. This however, came at a cost. The tribunal made Prakash Jha remove some of the scenes of the film. Nevertheless, it was necessary as the scene was an intimate one between Katrina and Arjun Rampal.
That was not all. The word ‘vidhawa’ was also taken off. The word ‘bitiya’ meaning daughter replaced it. These are the two major changes that the film has seen. Nevertheless, two changes and two days’ of wait – Prakash Jha would gladly take it.

Now the flick is news again with Katrina and her Hindi being the reason. The bone of contention is the presence of Katrina in the film who has still not got over the Hindi accent. Some feel that there should have been another leading lady with proper Hindi accents who could have been able to act as powerfully as Katrina. Now it is for the moviegoers to decide if the director’s choice was right or not.
