If the news of ‘Mid Day’ tabloid is to be trusted then Ranbir and Katrina were spotted on a date. The duo always maintained that they are good friends but they are spotted dancing in Delhi night club which was owned by Arjun Rampal. It is rumored that they were clubbing post the press meet for their upcoming super flick ‘Rajneeti.’ It appears that they have also dragged other co-stars like Nana Patekar and Manoj Bajpayee along with them for the clubbing. Is that a premiere for a romance between them? The rumors of their romance started while they were at Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani shoot and they say the duo warmed up towards each other after Ranbir split from his girlfriend Deepika.

It is also rumored that Ranbir and Priyanka were eyeing each other in the sets of ‘Anjaana Anjaani’ and that was the cause for the cat fight between Katrina and Priyanka.

Prabhu Deva, the director of the box office hit ‘Wanted’ is now roping in Katrina Kaif for an item number in his next upcoming film named ‘Ich.’ The actor – dancer turned director is now busy with shooting for the Tamil movie ‘Ich’ which stars Jayam Ravi and Hanshika in the lead roles. It is for this movie the director needs a box office face and he thinks Katrina would suit the role.

As Katrina is not a popular face in Tamil film industry, Prabhu Deva thinks she would accept to perform for the item number. The item number is a dance sequence with Jayam Ravi and the song is to be shot in Paris. We all know that Katrina is very reluctant to star in dual heroine roles but we don’t know whether she has any reservations to perform for an item number. It may offer her a chance to make her debut in Tamil film industry.

In Farah Khan’s ‘Tees Maar Khan’ Katrina plays the role of an item girl it appears that she has undergone total metamorphosis under make-up. She has even turned her nature to wild and aggressive one in an attempt to make the difference.

She is so much interested in the character that she has been shopping for clothes and accessories herself. She is frequently found in the small shops herself to buy cheap materials to put on in the role so that the appearance is authentic.

She has learned from Rajneeti that even small accessories could bring enormous change in the appearance and therefore she takes intense care in the selection of accessories for the character. Kat’s smile grew wider and the filming unit says they haven’t seen Kat smile so much for long time. She was advised to take in a Chinese therapist so that she can get rid of all the stress she collects in her work.

There were speculations going around that Farah Khan had approached Priyanka for her movie ‘Tees Maar Khan’ and then she was replaced by Katrina Kaif. It is rumored that the lead man Akshay is responsible for the drop out of Priyanka. But the Choreographer – turned – director Farah Khan says that Katrina Kaif was her only choice for the Akshay starrer. She says, “Katrina was the only one approached for the film. The role in Tees Maar Khan was tailor-made for her hence casting of any other actress was out of question.” She also added that among all the established actresses in Bollywood the only one the team considered was Katrina Kaif and therefore the speculations of them considering other actresses should end.

Katrina Kaif is considered as the lucky mascot of Bollywood as she is featuring on 3 projects this year. She is featuring in Prakash Jha’s ‘Rajneeti’, Farah Khan’s ‘Tees Maar Khan’ and ‘Dostana 2.’

It is said that he was not comfortable working with Priyanka and then the tables turned.

It appears that Akshay Kumar clarified to Farah Khan that he doesn’t share good terms with Priyanka. Priyanka debut movie was with Akshay in Andaz and they got very well initially. Then rumors about their affair started taking rounds and then it intensified after Aitraaz. The problems became severe in Mujhse Shaadi Karogi. When this was explained to Farah Khan she dropped Priyanka and chose Katrina for the lead role. Akshay and Katrina gave many hit films they have no problems whatsoever.

Bollywood beauty Katrina Kaif recently walked out of Anurag Basu’s new upcoming flick ‘Khamoshi’ which stars Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role. The walking out of Katrina has made the rumor mills roll and they say she walked out because the director has signed in Priyanka Chopra as well in the lead role. The film shooting is supposed to begin by the month of August and the director has signed in the South Indian charm Asin in lieu of Katrina. It is said that Asin readily accepted the offer and stepped into Katrina’s shoes.

Meanwhile other reasons are also said regarding Katrina’s back up from the movie. She has supposedly got hold of the rights of the remake of a French film she stars. She has plans of producing the movie besides staring in it. Due to date crunch, she is forced to drop one of her films to provide room for the French remake.

Recently Katrina launched the Nakshatra Vivaah collection which is the extension of Nakshatra, the leading brand in diamond jewelry. The actor was accompanied by Mehul Choksi, CMD Gitanjali Group at the launch, where Nakshatra’s new advertising campaign was also launched.

This unique collection based on ancient Indian texts where diamond is referred as Vajra, the weapon of Indian deity Indra. It is supposed to offer protection from fire, poison and evil spirits. It also draws inspiration from astronomy of Indian mythology ‘Saptharishi mandalam.’ The sevens tone diamond floral formation of the vivaah collection is based on the sacred geometry of this constellation. This is supposed to draw divine luck to the wearer.

Mr. Choksi said that today’s Indian bride wants to be modern and traditional at the same time. Each piece has contemporary look and it is also based on the seven stone floral clusters which is considered by Indian mythology as a symbol of divine luck.
