It is recently rumored that the soft smiley of B-Town Katrina Kaif is on to give tough looks in an upcoming production. They say that the movie is based on a different concept and it is adopted from French inspiration. In that flick her character demands her to be mean and aggressive and very selfish who stops at noting to achieve her goals. Katrina played negative role in ‘Race’ earlier but yet it is only a soft negative character unlike this one. It is rumored that the new flick revolves around the dark nature of her character. Since this is her first appearance as such character and she is doing research on powerfully performed negative roles of other actors and it appears that the Oscar winning Meryl Streep’s role in ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ caught her attention. She took that as her inspiration and adds her own tint of style to give it a fresh look.

Katrina Kaif, who is doing the lead role in Farah Khan’s Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Tees Maar Khan’ is renamed by the film unit as ‘Hurricane Katrina.’ The film unit is at shoot in Malshej Ghat, a tourist place around Mumbai and it is common for wind storms to occur in this place. The winds used to be strong that they would blow away things off the set. At those times the shooting would come to a halt and the unit people gang together to tease Katrina by screaming at her as ‘Hurricane Katrina.’

One unit person says, “We shared a couple of laughs on the sets during the wind storm.” The movie ‘Tees Maar Khan’ is directed by Farah Khan and it is produced by her husband Shirish Kunder. Farah Khan is a very good friend of Shah Rukh Khan and she has given blockbusters like ‘Main Hoon Naa’ and ‘Om Shanti Om’ earlier.

Katrina Kaif who is affectionately called as ‘Hurricane Katrina’ is busy promoting Farah Khan’s ‘Tees Maar Khan’ talks about her marriage. She says to reporters, “I think in two years I will get married. But still two years is a long time. I think I still have some time. Let’s see. You know as the saying goes, ‘Man proposes god disposes’ – so every time we make a plan god comes and changes it.” Who could be the lucky guy? Is it Salman Khan who is often talked with Katrina or someone else?

Right now she is busy with Prakash Jha’s ‘Rajneeti’ and Farah Khan’s ‘Tees Maar Khan.’ She says she is getting more positive feedbacks on ‘Rajneeti’ and considers it as an important film which would be a new step in her career. Can Katrina Kaif match up to Madhuri Dixit in dance? We have to wait to see it in silver screen. For a hot item number in Tees Maar Khan, a Farah Khan’s film she is said to wear Ghaghra choli designed by Aki Narula and shakes it like Madhuri. It is not going to be a walk in the park for Katrina. She too knows this. She is in the middle of hectic practice for nearly 15 to 20 days for this item number.

It is been confirmed from the director of Tees Maar Khan that Katrina is doing a village belle number in the movie like Madhuri. Inside sources say that the director has given Madhuri DVDs to Katrina to watch and imbibe the moves and expressions. It is said that the song will be shot in Malsej Ghat and it is choreographed by Geeta Kapoor and Farah Khan.

This is not about the end of the world though it may be the end of feast –to-the-eye display of Katrina Kaif. She has plans of tying the knot at 2012. Is she planning to get married before the end of the world? Somebody should ask her. She says, she wants to fully enjoy the 2 years in front of her before she takes the oath. She is booked for Farah Khan’s Tees Maar Khan, Tarun Mansukhani’s Dostana 2 and Imtiaz Ali’s Rockstar.
Says Katrina when asked about buying a new house, with a tint of shy, that she will be going to her husband’s house and therefore she doesn’t need to buy a new house.
When someone raised the question whether Salman Khan’s name is enlisted in the groom selection list, she chooses to remain silent. When tried to contact Salman for a comment on Katrina’s statement, he is just not available.

Wondering whether Katrina has nothing else to adopt? Actually there is a story behind it. On 22nd of January, the villagers of Devankhedi near Bhopal, found a leopard cub and named it Catreena (That’s how it is spelt) because it appeared cute and silky. The Van Vihar National Park team rescued the leopard cub and made home for it in their zoo.
Katrina heard of this and she offered to adopt the leopard cub. This news was confirmed by the Van Vihar National Park’s assistant director A.K.Khare. He says she called him up on Friday afternoon and expressed her desire. It is said that he pointed out to Katrina that the name of the cub is spelt as above.
A.K.Khare says that Katrina has to fill up a form and she is required to pay Rs.50000 per year for the maintenance of the cub. He has informed Katrina’s office of all the procedures and he is waiting for them to respond.

The Bollywood fans have lost few of the moments of heat forever. Katrina Kaif declared to the world that she won’t kiss or wear bikini in movies anymore. When the sad reporter asked her what could be the reason behind her heart breaking decision, she says, she is not comfortable doing those scenes. But she has been seen doing kissing scenes and wearing bikini in movies earlier but she has put a stop to them forever now.
Many sources say that she is turning down the demands from directors for a kissing scene or a bikini scene on the pretext that the script needs it. It appears that she has made it lucid to producer Karan Johar and director Mansukhani that she won’t do kissing or bikini scenes in Dostana 2. They say she refused to kiss Ranbir Kapoor in both Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani and Rajneeti in spite of insistence from the directors.

Katrina along with actors like Arjun Rampal and Manoj Bajpai flew in a private jet arranged by Prakash Jha to Patna for the inauguration of Jha’s news channel. From the moment she landed on Patna she has been memorizing few lines in Bhojpuri to mouth at the event.
Katrina really has a big fan crowd there. When she climbed on to the stage along with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar at Patna’s Shri Krishna Memorial Auditorium, the crowd broke into applause. When she spoke in Bhojpuri, the faces of Nitish Kumar and Bhojpuri actor Manoj Tiwari turned white. The Chief Minister during his speech said that his presence is not required when somebody like Katrina is already there.
Prakash Jha said that it was slightly difficult to coach Katrina some Bhojpuri but she did a pretty good job and earned enough fans over there. He also said that she has the image of Hema Malini in Bihar and she is affectionately called as the ‘Bihar ki beti.’

In the upcoming new Bollywood movie Prakash Jha’s ‘Rajneeti’ Katrina Kaif wears simple and plain sarees and plays the role without make-up. The story line goes like this. Katrina enters politics after her husband’s death and handles many hurdles to get things going. Does it ring you a bell? No? But it rang loud in the ears of the rumormongers of Bollywood. There is heavy discussion and talks going on that the film depict the Congress Chairperson Sonia Gandhi.
When asked for comment on whether the movie is about Mrs. Sonia Gandhi, Prakash Jha says that the story is totally a different one and there is not even one percent similarity between Mrs. Sonia Gandhi and the role of Katrina.
It is also rumored that Katrina quarreled with Jha over the choice of sarees in the movie while Jha claims that it was a bad rumor and only a healthy discussion occurred between the two.
